Richard Lundgren FI’12, medlem i Sweden Chapter, föreläser den 10 november på högkvarteret i New York under klubbens årliga event “Sea Stories” – en dag tillägnad undervattensutforskning och bevarande. “Recognized as one of Europe’s most experienced divers and underwater videographers, Mr. Lundgren dived professionally for more than 20 years. Having discovered and explored more than 120 shipwrecks; Mr. Lundgren’s explorations include HMHS Britannic, sister ship to the Titanic and Mars the Magnificent, a Swedish warship sunk in 1564.

He served as the deep cameraman inside a cave in Mexico’s Yucatán on First Face of America – a production by National Geographic, PBS and NOVA. Mr. Lundgren is a founder and board director at GUE, Global Underwater Explorers. He is a Fellow of The Explorers Club, member of Board of Scientific Divers and Chief Executive Officer of Ocean Discovery.

Mr. Lundgren works professionally with sea bottom surveys and environmental ocean studies specializing in advanced sonar systems and remotely operated vehicles.”
